Whales Painting Services · Project Case Study
This exterior window-trim project in Oliver Springs involved 30 windows and was completed in eight days. The customer was very pleased with the result. The photographs show the change from exposed, weathered wood around a pair of windows to a refreshed white-painted surround. The photos highlight the importance of preparation around glass and decorative woodwork.

The preparation photograph shows areas of missing coating and exposed wood on the vertical trim and sill. Adjacent white siding frames the work area. The paired windows and decorative surround make this a detail-focused exterior painting project.
Plastic sheeting and blue painter’s tape protect the glass in the preparation photograph. Areas of the old coating have been removed, exposing the wood beneath. The photo records the preparation stage rather than an untouched before condition.
The visible scope is the exterior window surround, including the vertical trim, sill and decorative upper detailing. The finished photograph shows white-painted trim against the white siding, giving the assembly a more consistent appearance while keeping its existing profiles and ornamentation.
For window-trim painting, send close-up photographs of peeling coating and any damaged wood, plus a wider view showing access and height. We can assess the surface and discuss any repair needs before defining the painting scope.
